Handling test

A handling test is preferably done at home, although it can be organised in a central location if timing is crucial or the product has slow turnaround. The objective is to evaluate a set of pack prototypes through actual usage. Respondents are asked to use the pack as they normally use similar packaging. Next, they complete a number of closed-ended questions about the convenience of the packaging.

We evaluate both the convenience upon first usage of the package, as well as repeat usage. Other issues such as storage and disposal can be taken into account too.
