Accompanied shopping research

In an accompanied shopping trip, customers are being observed and interviewed in the shop itself. We can organise stand-alone trips or have your shoppers wear eye-tracking glasses for a deep dive into their unconscious experience: what do they observe, for how long, and how does this relate to the purchase decision?

During the accompanied shopping research, the pre-recruited respondents are simply asked to buy what they would normally buy, while a moderator observes and probes them. Following are in-depth discussions on shopper habits including triggers, motivations, barriers, expectations, shelf-layout and more.
