Exit interview

Exit interviews are usually done to analyse what’s in the shopping basket. Haystack interviewers intercept shoppers upon leaving the shop. We typically compare the shopping list with the content of the basket to see how promotional activities and POS materials influence the shoppers.

These interviews allow us to find out what was bought on top of the ‘normal purchases’, how loyal customers are to their brands, which products have been replaced, and what seduced them to buy brands other than their regular brands.
